-crying tears of relief in the Jeep with my dad as we saw Rob (finally) safely returning on his bike from an epic 3 hour bike ride
-a good old-fashioned 8 foot high slide from which to enter the lake with a splash
-Marshall, Carter, and Penn scaling the "cliff" behind the house on a spy adventure
-an evening swim with the kids (John, Morgan, Mason, Marshall, and Carter) diving, jumping, swimming under the dock, floating poop (not really), mermaid hair, and Penn kisses from the dock
-my "happy, happy, joy, joy" card from John
-an evening canoe ride with Morgan, Mason, and Penn during which we saw the magical healing waterfall, a swimming mammal, and secret pine boughs to canoe under... We are peaceful and powerful!
-and, the most memorable event, Carter swimming and swimming and swimming for hours on end, and then sitting in the water looking very entranced watching a bucket-made waterfall, and then awakening with the tell-tale head bob followed by the rebuttal, "I'm not asleep!"
