-going for a walk with Penn who was investigating the field across the street and picking flowers to safely keep in his wooden treasure basket
-a fun, kid-filled time at the Spencer's party next door
-the boys staying up ALL the way until fireworks time and watching the Hamlin Park show from our house...Carter and I outside, and Penn in the safety of Daddy's arms inside :)
