-Penn's insistence that "That book blue," whenever I sing, "When that story has been read (red)..." because in the picture that story IS blue.
-plenty of forewarning so I could enjoy the mini-blizzard adventure on Two Rod Road when the plow went by on this blustery day
-finding Carter had already put both his and Penn's boots, coats, hats, and mittens away while I stayed outside to shovel...there is hope!
-being Penn's pillow at bedtime
