VFW Creek Rock Hop

-climbing down the far side of the dam to rock-hop across the creek as if we were giants at a mini-Niagara Falls
-Carter sighting a slippery, slithery salamander under a rock to hold and admire
-poor Penn standing frozen with surprise on a rock, "There is a snake here!" (And, oh, what a big fat snake it was warming itself in the sun! I was surprised too!)
-Branch returning to her playful, frisky self after her big surgery day yesterday
