-Carter arguing with me that he is not a mommy; he is a kid like daddy!
-the way that Penn says "sumping" for something
-finding deer pellets inside the fenced in pool area, and imagining how the deer got in there
-finally being outside after school, and after dinner- stacking wood, sweeping the porch, cleaning leaves out of the pool, and playing at the park
