-cozying with Rob on the couch at Pavel's birthday party while Penn commanded the attention of 16 year old Caroline
-hearing that Carter was downstairs at the party playing ping-pong and thinking how proud I am that he has come into his own
-watching TV with Rob at naptime to take a break from report cards
-cleaning crusty eye-boogers from the cats' eyes and wondering why this gross activity brings me joy :)
